In Chicago, there are many houses and thousands of volunteer opportunities. The quickest and best thing to do is call the United Way and ask for the names of 2 or 3 on their side of the city. Call and everyone can see which interests you. Good luck and thank you for believing that a volunteer - it is very rewarding.
